Over the last quarter century, Josh has been the voice of three TV networks: HBO Family, Metroguide, and Nick On Demand, some TV Shows: The History Channel's "This Week in History," TBS's "The Man Made Movie," and TV Guide Channel's "Ask The Stars" and "Celebrity Chat," and a web series: "Inside Science TV."
Josh has voiced a metric ton of promos, museum tours, documentaries, e-Learning courses and videos, survey questionnaires, sprawling government medical studies, TV specials, a CPR course, an LSAT prep course, a Microsoft software class, Pashto and Dari courses for the US Army, and more corporate videos than should be allowed by law.
With an acting, class clown, stand up comedy, and college radio background, Josh is equally at home inhabiting characters, doing comedic reads, or delivering warm, straight-ahead narration.
A native New Yorker with a pan-US accent, Josh has spent nearly twenty years in California and now lives in Northern Portugal. He's fun to work with, plays nicely with others, doesn't usually talk about himself in the third person, and delivers broadcast-quality audio to clients around the world from his professional home studio.
Speaking of gear, in his studio, Josh records with his trusty Neumann U87 microphone, a SE Acoustics Reflexion Filter, GIK Acoustics audio half booth, Focusrite ISA One analog pre-amp, Focusrite 2i2 digital analog converter, into Logic Pro, and can turn projects around muito rápido. Often same day, if needed.
And if your script needs a little love, Josh can help there too, as he's a multiple award-winning copywriter, content writer, and script doctor as well.
